Anna Richey is a 19 year-old Indie Folk/Pop/Country singer/songwriter and musician. Anna’s original song “Fragile” touched over 1,000,000 viewers worldwide since it was released on the LDS.org website. She won “Best Director” at the NoBull Video Awards at the YouTube Space in L.A. with her first single’s music video, “Broken.”

She attended Pioneer High School for the Performing Arts training with local musicians such as Sam Payne, Caleb Chapman, Nate Pyfer, Brady Bills, and many more. She has collaborated with talented singers and songwriters such as Aaliyah Rose (the Voice), Madilyn Paige (the Voice), Nick Sales (international videographer and musician), Maddie Wilson (YouTuber), Rich Parkinson (Nashville Songwriter), Nik Day (Songwriter for the LDS church), Bri Ray (American Idol), and Rhonda Carlson (Performance coach who has worked with Beyonce and Rhianna). She is also a member of the Christian singing group SPARK, recording music and filming music videos, as well as performing all over the Utah County area. Anna currently studies with Anjanette Mickelson, a top vocal coach in Utah. Anna has taught several workshops including the Songwriting 101 workshops in the Harris Fine Arts Center at Brigham Young University.

Besides singing and songwriting, Anna loves playing the piano. Anna began piano lessons at the age of 7, strictly studying classical music. By the age of 12, Anna began studying with Dean Kaelin's (taught David Archuleta and Julianne Hough) nephew Abe Kaelin, learning to play by ear.

Anna has won several vocal competitions and has performed nationwide. She sang in the Draper Day’s parade and was one of the opening acts for Chicago at the Draper Day’s carnival last summer.

Anna also loves photography, cooking, and finding new adventures in new places. In Nashville, Anna enjoyed meeting with producers and songwriters and took pleasure in singing "Don't Wanna Miss A Thing" with Aerosmith’s lead singer, Steven Tyler, as well as performing at the infamous Blue Bird Cafe singing her sassy original song, “Cheetah” just minutes before Kelsea Ballerini took to the stage, surprising everyone by singing her biggest hit single, “Peter Pan.”

Anna's parents grew up in very musical homes. Her father, Richey Gibbons, was on his way to fulfilling his dream as a rockstar, signing with Vanilla Ice’s manager (“Ice Ice Baby”), when he was diagnosed with a brain tumor. He shortly passed away five days before Anna was born. Anna carries on his legacy and dreams through the music she continues to create and teach every moment she can.

way five days before she was born. Her mother named her after her father so she would always have a piece of him with her at all times. She intends to carry on his legacy and dream through the music Anna continues to create every moment she can.

She hopes to influence the world with good, uplifting music that can help people feel good about themselves and the world around them.
